Got a bit carried away with this one! I was given some peacock feathers and this is the result. The cuff looks quite exotic, but it's virtually impossible to wear without damaging the feather. It's destined to stay an ornament.
Gorgeous! As I said on the BPJ blog, I can just see him preening around the yard! And I can see you he would be a little difficult to wear...but he will look beautiful on the shelf!!
Impractical, maybe, but absolutely genius in the making of it. You used so many different media (Angelina, polymer clay, real feather, felt, beads...) and pulled them all together marvelously!
I'm so delighted that you like my butterfly enough to keep encouraging me to post it here! Not entirely my fault. I tried, but there was a Google blip and I kept getting an error message. In fact one of my previous photos disappeared from the blog too. Anyway, I've managed it now. Thank you again for your lovely comments.
